A letter from J.L. Blankenship in Amarillo, Texas to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 9 October 1917. A handwritten letter on a letterhead from the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Mr. Blankenship informs Mr. Hart that the deed to the water stock for lot 2, which Mr. Blakenship purchased from J.A. Scott, and the letter designating the transfer of the lot from Mr. Scott to Mr. Blankenship have been lost in the mail. Mr. Blankenship asks that Mr. Hart send replacement documents so that they can be signed and returned. With creases, pin holes, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
