A letter from J.L. Blankenship in Dallas, Texas to Grover T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 22 Septemer 1917. Mr. Blankenship apologizes regarding the failed Gernet deal between his client, Mr. Scott, and Mr. Russell; however, Mr. Blankenship goes on to imply that the failure was caused by Mr. Russell and/or his company. Mr. Blankenship states that Mr. Scott refused to purchase the property due to the terms of the care contract. Mr. Blankenship claims that he will take out a sub-agency if he ever furnishes Mr. Russell's company with future clients. In addition, Mr. Blankenship expresses some frustration that the company has not yet provided the surveyor's notes for his lemon grove, which he expects to receive as soon as possible. With moderate tears, pin holes, a dog-eared corner, moderate moisture damage, minor acid burns, minor foxing, and stains, the object is in fair condition overall.Lexicon
