Description
A letter from J.P. Lombard, President of Lombard & Son Inc., in Fresno, California to Grover Taylor Russell in Los Angeles, California. 11 November 1918. A typed letter on a letterhead for Lombard & Son Inc., a California farm mortgages company. Mr. Lombard states that banks seem to be reducing the amount of first mortgage loans they issue for ranches; however, he insists that his company has a $500,000 allotment for improved farms in areas of the San Joaquin and Sacremento Valleys. Thus, Mr. Lombard encourages Mr. Russell to direct interested parties to his company for ranch and farm loans that will be managable even during wartime conditions. With creases, minor acid burns, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
