A letter from Jacob Stern, President of the Stern Realty Company, Incorporated, in Los Angeles, California to Russell & Maple in Whittier, California. 19 May 1919. In response to Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple, Mr. Stern states that his company will part with 500 or 600 acres in Sections 11 and 14 for $300 per acre. However, the company asks for a minimum $1,000 deposit, 1/5th of the purchase price in cash, and for the balance to be at 6% interest for 4 years. With creases and moderate discoloration, the object is in good to fair condition overall.
