Description
A letter on letterhead from First Baptist Church, in which John Givens in Carthage, Missouri writes to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California, 29 May 1913. Mr. Givens saw the advertisement in the May 25th 1913 "Examiner" and requests additional information such as the distance to Whittier Heights, if there are schools and churches near, and if one can live on growing vegetables and berries while the citrus fruit is coming in. He would also like to know if tracts have bungalows, and if so, the price as well as prices for 5 acres, planted and unplanted. With holes from a straight pin, pest damage, pieces missing, and acid burns, the object is in good overall condition.
