Description
A letter from Jos. Melczer & Co. to Robert A. Rowan & Co., Los Angeles, 14 January 1913. The missive, on the letterhead of the firm that manufactured and sold wine, brandy and liquor and had San Gabriel vineyards and wineries, as well as its Los Angeles office and to a downtown realty firm, concerned approval of roof repairs on the Rowan Apartments, presumably sold by the latter to the former. With folds, some edge staining, light soiling and a small loss at the bottom edge, the condition is good.
