Description

A letter from Lewis H. and Clara T. Davidson to Walter and Laura Temple, 25 April 1917. The missive, on the letterhead of the Boyd Realty Company of Boyle Heights in Los Angeles, noted illness in the Temple family and measles with the Davison children, hoped the Temple well "is a dandy," and discussed going to "the Country" to live and farm. The Davidsons moved to the Puente area soon afterward. Clara Davidson's mother was the oldest child of prominent Los Angeles judge Agustín Olvera and his wife María Refugia Ortega. With a small ink stain creases, folds and edge wear, the condition is good.
