Description
A letter from M.L. Howell in Escondido, California to Russell & Maple in Whittier, California. 7 January 1920. Mr. Howell explains that the Pattens of "Rose Hedge Ranch" in Whittier have taken some "views" (possibly photos) of his groves that they will pass on to Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple. Mr. Howell states that he would prefer if Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple came to see the lands in-person, as he believes that their doing so would make it easier for them to sell the property and receive the $5,000 commission. With creases, minor acid burns, minor tears, small missing pieces, stains, minor foxing, and minor discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
