Description

A letter from Martha Watte in Wildomar, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 18 May 1916. Mrs. Watte confirms that she has received Mr. Hart's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1030) and folder. Mrs. Watte lists information regarding her 60 acre valley property, including details about its house, water system, location, and crops. Mrs. Watte states that she and her husband value the property at $10,000, and that they would be willing to accept a trade for a portion of the price. Mrs. Watte clarifies that, if they accept a trade, they would prefer a small ranch near either Whittier or the coast. Ms. Watte would also like to be notified two days in advance before Mr. Hart shows anyone her property. With smudged text, creases, minor foxing, and a minor fold, the object is in good condition overall.
