Description
A letter (a) and envelope (b) from Nellie Richardson to John H. Temple, 14 August 1877. The missive is from a young woman who evidently fell in love with John, though she insinuated that he did not reciprocate. Her letter is full of emotion and feeling and very descriptive of her situation in the year since John returned home from Reading, Massachusetts, the Temple family's long-time home city and from where Nellie wrote. With folds, tears on folds and light soiling, the condition is fair.
