A letter from Percy E. Towne in San Francisco, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 11 November 1916. A typed letter on a letterhead for Percy E. Towne, Attorney at Law. Mr. Towne explains that he was referred to Mr. Hart by W.E. Mitchell of Hunsaker & Britt. Mr. Towne states that some of his clients are trying to sub-divide and sell their 24.95 acres of land in Los Angeles County, though they would prefer to sell the property as it is. Mr. Towne states that his clients have priced the property at $25,000. Mr. Towne also forewarns Mr. Hart that his clients do not want to work with a broker who is willing to abandon a project and leave a property encumbered with debts. There is a handwritten note at the top of the document, but the text is hard to discern. With creases, minor acid burns, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
