A letter from Perry Worden in Pasadena, California to Thomas W. Temple II in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 8 March 1927. In the typewritten, two page letter, Worden explains that he visited Walter P. Temple, who is making decisions on landscaping matters for the rancho. Worden predicts that the Workman Homestead will become a site of historical importance, and informs Thomas about the completion of the Mission Playhouse in San Gabriel, to which Walter was a donor. Worden also gives details regarding his materials on Hugo Reid and his planned visit with Richard Henry Dana, Jr. With creases; minor discoloration; minor and moderate acid burns; and minor flaking, the object is in good condition overall.
