Description
A letter from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, ca. 1931. The main thrust of the missive was to praise Temple for his recent research, perhaps including his documentation of the birthdate of Los Angeles as being 4 September 1781, though it might be other work, with Worden's warnings to the young historian and genealogist. On the reverse is a handwritten question about whether Temple was on the mailing list of Dawson's Book Shop. With folds, some ink and other small stains and light soiling, the condition is good.
