A letter from Peter Goddicksen and Emilie K. Goddicksen to an unknown recipient. 24 January 1918. Mr. and Mrs. Goddicksen discuss the sale of lot 4, tract 1953 in the North Whittier Heights subdivision. Mr. and Mrs. Goddicksen state they have agreed to receive $7,500 from the sale of the lot; however, the agreement also dictates that Grover T. Russell will receive a commission for negotiating the sale. They state that Mr. Russell's commission will be the difference between $7,500 and the price that he ultimately sells the property for. Mr. and Mrs. Goddicksen explain that, in addition, they will take out a $4,000 mortgage on their property at 7% interest for 3 years. Some of the text near the end of document is hard to discern. With a crease, a moderate tear, a pin hole, minor wear, minor foxing, and minor discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
