Description
A letter from Russell & Maple to G.O. Barnett in Imperial, California. 11 January 1922. The abbreviation "GTR:DH" near the signature line may refer to Grover T. Russell. In response to Mr. Barnett's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1599), Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple state that the 10 acre walnut orchard is located near the Merced and Willow streets. However, Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple explain that the owner would prefer to trade for property in the Los Angeles or Orange counties, or to sell on other terms. With yellowing, pin holes, rust stains, early signs of foxing, minor tears, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
