A letter from Russell & Maple to Herbert Cornish in Los Angeles, California. 5 February 1920. In response to Mr. Cornish's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1553), Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple state that they are not interested in acting as a sub-agent during the sale of the northern Imperial Valley lands, which are owned by the Imperial Valley Farm Land Association. Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple explain that they see the merit of the property, but that they are simply too preoccupied with handling orchard lands in their district to take on the proposition. With minor acid burns; smudged text; yellowing; stains; a fold; minor foxing; moderate and minor tears; and minor moisture damage, the object is in fair condition overall.
