Description
A letter from Russell & Maple to Mrs. LeCompte Davis in Los Angeles, California. 29 October 1919. Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple ask if Mrs. Davis would like to quote a price on her walnut orchard. They remind Mrs. Davis that she had previously given them an exclusive agency on the property, but that no sale was made since the prospective buyers considered its price to be too high. Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple suggest that they could now secure a buyer if Mrs. Davis gives them an exclusive listing on the property, which they would then advertise, or an open listing. With a crease, minor tears, and severe discoloration/acid burns, the object is in fair condition overall.
