Description

A letter from the North Whittier Improvement Association to F.H. Joyner of the Hall of Records' County Road Department in Los Angeles, California. 2 November 1915. A two page, typed letter. The author states that, while he and his associates are aware of the County Road Department's heavy workload, they would still like to inform Mr. Joyner that Turnbull Canyon Road is in desperate need of improvement so that it can withstand the rainy season. The author notes that the road has been serving a significant amount of traffic and lists various reasons for why the rain coud make it impassable if the department takes no action. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, an acid burn, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
