A letter from the Whittier Extension Company to Martin Olsen in Sierra Madre, California, 26 May 1913. A descriptive folder of North Whittier Heights is being sent Mr. Olsen, which includes a map of Southern California showing the location of the property and a map showing the subdivided plots. The 1800 acres consists of 100 acres for a townsite, 400 acres of rough land for homesites, and 1300 acres for orchards which costs $500 to $900 an acre and can be planted with citrus trees for an additional $175 an acre. With holes from a straight pin, a fold, tears, wear, and an acid burn, the object is in good overall condition.
