Description
A letter from Thomas G. Dodds in Oakland, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 29 August 1914.
A typed letter on letterhead for Dr. Thomas G. Dodds. Dr. Dodds saw an ad for North Whittier Heights in the L.A. Times. Dr. Dodds has been thinking of investing in land in Southern California and would like to know the cost and income per acre for orange land and walnut land.
The top center reads "Dr. Thomas G. Dodds / East 21st Street and 24th Avenue." The top left and right give the phone numbers of Merritt 1029 and Home B 1010.
There are creases from the letter being folded, water damage on the right side and much of the bottom, rodent damage on the bottom left side, and abrasion damage along the folds. This object is in poor condition overall.
