Description
A letter from to Carsten Truelsen in Hemit [sic], California. 29 June 1916. A two page, typed letter. It should be noted that the author has misspelled the city of Hemet in California as "Hemit." The author confirms that Mr. Truelsen's earlier letter regarding the North Whittier Heights subdivision (Object ID: 2017.41.1.11) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author lists the prices of the unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and planted lands ranging from $700 to $1100 per acre. The author also mentions the completion of the North Whittier Boulevard and his firm's intention to subdivide a modern townsite on the property. The author states that Mr. Truelsen can refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce or tour the lands to learn the merits of the property. The author offers to provide more information at Mr. Truelsen's request. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, minor foxing, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
