2012.652.1.1Description
A letter from W. H. Bradrick to Mr. Clark, 24 September 1913. On the letterhead of the Pacific Motor Coach Company of Los Angeles, the one-page missive concerns the creation of the firm, noting that investors from Pasadena and Long Beach were approached and that nearly three dozen vehicles were ordered. Partners were also named, including their business affiliations, and Clark was invited to join the company, which briefly operated a few dozen double-decker buses in competition with the Pacific Electric Railway in 1914 with lines between Los Angeles, Pasadena, Venice and San Pedro before the firm declared bankruptcy. With top edge browning, small edge tears, original folds and light soiling, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
