A typed letter on letter head for W.H. Crook. A letter regarding the sale of Lot 9 in Orchard Dale. W.B. Mallott was at the property. Mr. Mallott has a 40 acre property in Kern County with a $600 mortgage against it. Mr. Mallott is willing to take the recipients property at $800 an acre if he is willing to trade.
The top left corner reads "W.H. Crook / Dealer in / Real Estate, Insurance and Loans / Oil and Mining Stocks / Bond Investments." Below this and to the right is the city name Whittier, California.
There are creases from the letter being folded, browning along the top, soiling on the right side, and the back has abrasion damage along the folds.
