A letter from W.S. Emery in New York City, New York to the Whittier Extension Company in Los Angeles, California. 8 August 1916. A two page, typed letter. Mr. Emery requests details about the trees on the Copps property, the value of the property, and how the land is cared for, as well as information regarding the commission he could receive for finding a buyer. Mr. Emery states that he has interested some parties in this property and feels that he can convince them to offer $7,500 cash for it. In a handwritten postscript, Mr. Emery states that he knows of a 40 acre tract planted to thick skinned avocados. With rust stains, creases, minor foxing, moisture damage, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
