A letter from W.Z. Foster in Los Angeles, California to G.D. Maple in Whittier, California. 20 April 1917. In response to Mr. Maple's earlier letter, Mr. Foster offers a deal in which he will assume the $2,000 mortgage on Mr. Maple's property. Mr. Foster states that he will value Mr. Maple's property at $5,000 and his own property, which has $4,568.42 due, at $8,600. Mr. Foster urges Mr. Maple to reply and states that he may soon take his property off of the market. There are handwritten calculations on the back side of the document. With creases, two folds, minor acid burns, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
