A letter from Whittier Extension Company to C.B. Palland in Los Angeles, California, 25 May 1913. Mr. Palland's request for walnut, almond and deciduous fruit land (object number 2017.41.1.77) was received and a descriptive folder and maps will be mailed in a separate letter. The land is good for walnuts but is best for oranges and lemons. An cost estimate to plants and maintain an orchard for 5 years as well as an income estimate will also be provided. With holes from a straight pin, creases, and a fold, the object is in good overall condition.
