Description

A letter of introduction by Los Angeles County Sheriff John C. Cline for J.E. Graham and Walter P. Temple, 30 May 1894. The letter, with the sheriff's official seal, attested to the good qualities of the two men as they traveled through México that summer. With the document torn in half along a horizontal fold, other folds and end tears along them, some very small ink stains and very light soiling, the condition is poor.
