Description
A letter of petition to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors from electors of the La Puente School District, 30 August 1904. The item called for the change of the district name to Temple School District and has the names over forty residents including the brothers Charles, Walter and John H. Temple, Giovanni Piuma, Paolo Briano, Victor Manzanares, James Basye, Adelaida Bermudez Barry, and Julia Cruz. The name was not changed until 1921, however. With folds, some heavy creases and light browning/soiling, the condition is good.
