Description

A letter to Charles G. Baker in Lancaster Pennsylvania from Germain Seed & Plant Co. in Los Angeles, California, 12 December 1919. This was in response to a letter Mr. Baker sent to Johansen Sons Company on behalf of his client Mr. Johnson which was forwarded to the Germain Seed & Plant Co. He would like to know the value of stock in the Johansen Sons Company, but with the company going out of business stocks are valued at $.20 on the dollar and there is no prospect of sale. With creases, tears, and acid burn, the object is in poor overall condition.
