A letter with letterhead, "G.W. Morgan Real Estate Agent and Money Broker, No. 4, Temple Block, Spring Street/Los Angeles, Cal."dated 10 March 1871. The missive was written by J.R. Toberman on behalf of Mr. Belcher. Mr. Toberman writes to recipient of the letter (name cannot be distinguished though the title of Esquire is included, indicating the person was a lawyer), introducing Mr. Belcher, and requesting that he be given the opportunity to view land that was available for purchase. The letter has light stains from ink smears, some fading, tear on the left side, and creasing. It is good condition overall
