Description
A letter (a) and with envelope (b) written from the Belmont Hotel, Los Angeles, 1886. The missive mainly concerns an Eastern invalid's convalescence and descriptions of the hotel and potential other lodging. The Belmont, which burned a few years later, was located on the site of today's Belmont School northwest of Bunker Hill. The overall condition is good.
