A cabinet card photograph of a ranch or farm yard, by C. B. Waite, Los Angeles, 1896. The view appears to be taken from a road in front of a set of wooden stairs leading to the property. New trees are planted in the area just beyond the stairs and a fence. Behind the trees is a building erected on a wooden platform. Portions of other buildings are behind some trees at the right. Waite's stamp is on the reverse, but there are no other identifying marks or inscriptions. Woith some stains, soiling edge rubbing to the mount and foxing, the condition is fair.
