Description
A Los Angeles City Schools report card, 1896-97 school year. The card is for Myrtle Marlar, a first-grade student at Normal Model School and provides information on school days for the semester, days present and absent, times tardy, and grades on a variety of subjects. There is also a teacher's signature. On the reverse is the instructor's recommendation for promotion in ink and two stamped names, presumably a principal and superintendent. With a few stains, creases, browning, soiling and rubbing, the condition is fair.
