Description

A Los Angeles commercial building, C. C. Pierce and Company, 1890s. Taken from one side of a street, the view shows the three-story structure on the corner of two thoroughfares. It has bay windows at the corner on the upper two floors and a castle-like turret on the roof level. There is an entrance at the corner and another at the far right and several first-floor windows have large awnings, as does the corner entrance. Part of a streetcar and some horse-drawn vehicles are on the street. There is a Pierce stamp on the center reverse. With some stains, soiling, creases, edge rubbing and possible pest damage, the condition is fair.
