A Los Angeles County Probate Court document for the estate of John Ward with William Workman as executor, 5 April 1859. The first page appoints Workman as executor, with his signature on the second page after swearing an oath to fulfill his duty. The remainder of the document is Ward's will making disposition of his property to the children of his former business partner and naming Workman and Henry Hancock as executors. With some stains, discoloration, creases, and a small hole on the last page, the condition is good.
