A snapshot of a Los Angeles oil field, ca. 1920s. The view shows a forest of derricks accompanied by associated smaller structures, as well as tanks. It is unclear if the field is within an existing residential neighborhood or in an outlying area, such as the Baldwin Hills. There is a large stain at the far right corner that does not affect the image's general visibility and there is some light soiling and creasing, so the overall condition is fair.
