Description
A lot of sixteen black and white snapshots of the Saugus Division headquarters of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, 1906-1909. The headquarters was one of the closest to the city and located near today's California Route 14 at Newhall Avenue. This image depicts a view of four buildings in the camp with a stack of pipes in front, includes hospital, mess hall, clerk's house and division office. In generally good condition with minor edge abrasion and creasing.
