Description
A lot of sixteen black and white snapshots of the Saugus Division headquarters of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, 1906-1909. The headquarters was one of the closest to the city and located near today's California Route 14 at Newhall Avenue. This image depicts the yards where barrels and pipes are laid out. Also in view is the commissary warehouse, the commissary was run by D. J. Desmond. Inscribed on reverse and generally in good condition with minor edge abrasion and creasing.
