Description

A carte-de-visite photograph of a man named Wilson by Henri Penelon, Los Angeles, ca. 1870. The view is an upper torso and head shot of the man, who wears a dark coat, patterned vest, white shirt, and tie or cravat, and who appears to be in his fifties. On the back is the photographer's name (Penelon and Company) and address. There is also an inscription that reads "My Father, Eppie [?] Wilson." With some soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
