Description
A man [probably S.D. Ward] next to a Buick coupe, Los Angeles, 1920s. The closeup view shows the man in overalls, a white shirt, and a cap standing next to the driver's side door of the car, which is parked at the side of a street. In the background are portions of two bungalow houses. On the reverse is an inscription: "Mrs. SD Ward / 200 111 Place / Los Angeles / Green Meadows / Main / Broadway." It appears to describe the location in south Los Angeles where the image was taken. There are other inscriptions and a stamped number "2-1412." With the lower right corner missing, soiling, abrasions and discoloration, the overall condition is fair.
