Description
A man, woman and boy in front of the Normal Hill Center, Bunker Hill, Los Angeles, 31 October 1915. The three (the boy being George Courtney) stand on a sidewalk and next to a rock wall and gate on the Grand Avenue side of the campus. Much of the east facade of the three-story structure and its ornate center tower are in view although there are some trees blocking some of the structure. The site, formerly a normal school for teacher education, is now occupied by the Central Public Library. An ink inscription gives details about the structure being owned by the city or a grade school and city offices. With some tape at the lower left and upper left corners and some soiling, the condition is good overall.
