Description

A Mediterranean Revival house at the Hollywoodland subdivision, Los Angeles, ca. 1924. In the foreground is a paved road along a largely flat area of the tract. The two-story residence, on a small lot at the base of a hill, is narrow in depth and longer in width to fit the layout of the parcel. It has a flat front elevation, except for a small balcony over an entrance next to a single-car garage. The front entrance has a decorative opening and there are grilles on the first-floor windows, but small window openings for the most part. A small balcony is at the short right side of the structure. A "For Sale" sign is at one corner. Pencil inscriptions for measurements are on the reverse. With a stain on the back, small missing portions of the top corners, appearing to be chew marks, soiling and edge abrasion, the overall condition is fair.
