Description
A Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company check of Walter P. Temple, 14 May 1908. It is made out to Giovanni Piuma for $5 (originally writen for $3) with stamps for Piuma at his Los Angeles grocery business address and Merchants National Bank of Los Angeles on the reverse. Piuma was long the lessee of the Temple family adobe on Rancho La Merced. With creases, folds, browning and a stain, the condition is fair.
