Description

A Mother's Day postcard, Meigs Publishing Company, Indianapolis, 1915. The front of the card, addressed to a location near Lincoln High School in what was soon renamed Lincoln Heights in Los Angeles, has a four-line poem "To Honor Our Mothers" and an image of a woman, while on the reverse is printed text that the holiday was to be the following Sunday, with the date of 9 May written in ink, and that an invitation was tendered with the ink inscription indicating the location to be the East Los Angeles Congregational Church Sunday School, starting at 10:30. With some small stains, light soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is good.
