Description
A negative of a pilot getting ready for take off. Los Angeles, CA., ca. 1910. A man is sitting in the cockpit which is in front of the engine, with the propeller facing the rear of the plane. There are men standing at both the left and right wings as well as standing at the rear of the plane. A ladder is placed behind the engine and one of the men appears to be adding oil. There are several cracks that run throughout the image, the object is in poor condition.
