Description

A negative of the John C. Fremont branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, ca. 1927. The image shows a woman standing in front of the Spanish Colonial Revival one-story structure with its distinctive entrance rotunda, tile roof, iron grilles and other details. The building at Melrose Avenue and June Street opened in June 1927 and still stands. The condition appears to be good.
