Description
A negative of Third Street looking west from about Broadway, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. This appears to be a circa 1930s AGFA negative of an earlier image used for a postcard. There is a caption at the lower left. The view shows a crowded street with many pedestrians, streetcars, horse-drawn vehicles and streetcars and there are many commercial buildings lining the street. In the distance is the Third Street tunnel and the Angels Flight funicular leading to Bunker Hill. The condition is good.
