Description

A negative showing the Wilcox Building and surrounding areas in downtown Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The Wilcox, built in 1896, stood at the corner of Second and Spring streets. Atop it is a flag advertising the H. Jevne store, which was located at the ground floor and which was open by Norwegian Hans Jevne in 1882. Portions of other buildings and some of the skyline are also of note. The condition is overall good.
