A New Year's postcard of angels in an automobile, postmarked from Los Angeles, 31 December 1908. The image is a striking blue and gold colored depiction of three cherubs in an open-top car and they hoist glasses of champagne, with the bottle in an ice bucket on the driver's side running board. At the upper left is the greeting "Happy New Year." There is a short message from a couple from Highland Park to a recipient in Oakland. With soiling, edge rubbing, and some of the cancellation stamp on the front image, the overall condition is good.
