Description
A newspaper clipping with an advertisement for 22 acres of avocado or citrus lands, ca. 1910-1924. This clipping was most likely attached to another document in the HM Collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1639). The advertisement states that the land is located in the Whittier foothill section and priced at $550 per acre. The advertisement also states that the land can be bought whole or subdivided, and that it could be developed into a suburban home-site. The advertisement directs readers to contact Russell or Maple with Edwin G. Hart. A business address and phone numbers are provided. Two more real estate advertisements are present on the back side of the clipping. With pin holes, severe discoloration, and a folded corner, the object is in fair condition overall.
